Voz y Noz Neo Prog Band from Perú

“Voz  y  Noz” is a neo progressive Peruvian rock band that incorporates British progressive new wave and symphonic rock with influential roots from the 70's and 80's. The band name is based on the phenomenon of live music, the encounter of “you and us” (Vosotros y Nosotros) which gives the name to the band: “Voz y Noz”. Formed in 1988, the band is a quartet composed of Iván Pacussich (guitar), Hernán Villena (keyboard), José Antonio Rodríguez (bass and violin) and Iván Pasco (drums). Although each one specializes in specific instruments, everyone shares a part in the vocals.

Era Miscela Electro Rock

Era Miscela is a Peruvian electro rock formed in Lima in 2011. The group was created by Hector Nole who together with the singer Chiara Shot got the first brushstrokes of what would be the band. Then Rossana Revilla joined them for the effect sounds and backing tracks to finish the perfect team for the power trio. Era Miscela is known for his fusion with pop, alternative rock and electronica. They have an EP and an official music video of their song “Enciende el Cielo”. Nowadays Era Miscela is working on what will be their first album. They work with Sonidos Latentes in the management.

KikasBan Sleazy from Peru

KikasBan is a Peruvian hard rock band formed in 2011 to kick ass. Their music is powerful and savage and their songs can be felt from the heart and will give you the chills. The band consists of Ricky Hidalgo (lead vocals), Tito Kash (guitar), José Luis Tejada (bass) and Daniel Vilchez (drums).

ROCK IN TIME (ROCK en el Tiempo)

ROCK EN EL TIEMPO (Spanish for ROCK IN TIME) is the name of a forthcoming rock festival that will gather veteran and new bands devoted to exploring teh harder edges of rock music. It is an event produced by Sonidos Latentes Producciones, the entity resposible for various UNA NOCHE DE ROCK PROGRESIVO festivals.

 

Now, ROCK EN EL TIEMPO statesa a congregation of the following bands: Pax, Tlön, Arbol de Fuego, Reino Ermitaño and La Caja De Schrödinger.

 

The aforesid festival will be undertaken on Friday, June 24th, at Nuevo ETNIAS (Carabaya, 815 - Cercado de Lima - formerly Embassy). Capacity: 500 poplete.

 

The starting time is 9.00 PM and the ticket price is only S/. 10 (pre-sale: S/. 8).

PAX
Pioneering band of Peru's heavy rock tradition, founded in 1969 by Pico Ego Aguirre. A few years ago, the current re-formed line-up played as the opening band for DEEP PURPLE.

TLÖN
A reformulation of former band TARKUS, it comprises Walo Carrillo (Telegraph ave,Tarkus), Cesar Bustamante (Fragil) and Christian Van Lacke (original Tarkus and Tarkus 2007).

A younger band that mixes classic hard rock, grunge, psychedelic rock and the harder side of the so-called alternative rock, with touches of prog-metal, theyr have recently released their debut album "Numen".

Heavy rock and stoner mixed together in a nexciting rocking sound: the yhave released 3 albums so far and have played in a number of international rock festivals.

LA CAJA DE SCHRÖDINGER
One of the new and brighter promises of Peru's prog metal scene, they have recently released their debut EP “Mente Maestra” and re currently working on their debut CD.

 LATENT SOUNDS PRODUCTIONS arranges events in La Casa Piaggio, having delivered several festivals as “PIAGGIO FEST”, “ROCK ‘N PIAGGIO” and “PIAGGIO FEM FEST”, which included a variety of bands and styles.
LATENT SOUNDS PRODUCTIONS has been bringing forth “UNA NOCHE DE ROCK PROGRESIVO”, a festival gathering the best national progressive rock exponents that will be accomplishing their fourth edition soon.
With partner Estudio REC, SONIDOS LATENTES PRODUCCIONES is editing the albums of SHAKKEN ( “Quien desafía al sol”), CIRCO AL EDEN (“Solo los Valientes”), and carried out the realization of “RON FEST 2”, with the support of the Facebook community “Día del Ron”.
Although SONIDOS LATENTES PRODUCCIONES is a profit-making company, their main concern is the creation of proper conditions for solid music bands with a stable future, to demonstrate that high-grade shows with added value can be created, through the complete participation of parties involved, the search of the best sound, and proper organization and responsibility in the events.
